Team up with Maui’s own MLB All-Star center fielder Shane Victorino and his wife, Melissa, and other stars from the worlds of sports and entertainment for the 4th annual Shane Victorino Foundation Celebrity Dinner & Golf Classic on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Maui, Hawaii.
The event kicks off as celebrity team captains tee it up on the fabulous Wailea Golf Club Gold Course, with corporate executives and community leaders, for a shotgun scramble format tournament. Lunch, courtesy of Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant and Bar, and beverages, courtesy of Maui Brewing Co. will be provided throughout the day. Each golfer will also receive a Hurley gift bag filled with fabulous items.
That evening, participants will head to the Four Seasons Resort Maui for an evening cocktail reception, silent and live auctions filled with exotic getaways, sports memorabilia and other one-of-a-kind items during an island-style dinner, followed by an awards ceremony. Returning as the evening’s emcee is ESPN SportsCenter Anchor Neil Everett.
This tournament has become one of the premier golf tournaments in Hawaii. Scheduled to join Shane on the course this year are: Ben Francisco, Ryan Howard, and Jimmy Rollins (Phillies); Brandon League and Jason Vargas (Mariners); Kevin Correia and Cameron Maybin (Padres); Cody Ross (Giants); Adam Jones (Orioles); Kanekoa Texeira (Yankees); Craig Sager (TBS/TNT Broadcaster); Pat O’Connell (Surfing Hall of Famer), and others.
All proceeds will benefit the Shane Victorino Foundation.
